We aim to teach a broad and balanced curriculum that recognises the multicultural society we live in. We follow the National Curriculum in all subject areas. We are recognising the need for a more cross-curricular approach by developing themed units of work encompassing a the full range of foundation subjects. Children are taught in three broad bands of ability in each class. Work is clearly matched to ability and each child has individual targets in English and Maths.

Sex education is addressed through the PSHE curriculum, in years 2, 4 and 6. Parents can see the materials used and can withdraw their children from this if they so wish.
