Big Breakfast WOW Day
To begin our ‘Burp to Bottom’ topic, Years 3 and 4 decided to enjoy breakfast together.
We tried porridge, toast, strawberries, blueberries, grapes, bananas and a selection of fruit juices.
It was a lovely way to celebrate the start of term.
Autumn 1 Year 4
We have had a wonderful start to our new term. In the first two days we looked at the paintings of famous artist Monet and create our own art work inspired by his Water Lilies series of paintings. We used a range of materials including water colours and pastels. These were used to create our beautiful hall display.
We have also enjoyed our ‘Wow’ day linked to our topic – Could a jellyfish run faster than Usain Bolt? We created large bodies by drawing round some class mates, had a post it quiz and then added the main organs and muscles using collage. We’ve created some lovely pencil drawings too!
